Outdoor Orchard Table (33" x 96" x 30")
I build rustic primitive furniture on my sheep farm in Northern Sullivan County. I handcrafted this table from SPF (pine) lumber. (Not pressure treated) I pre-paint all lumber before assembly then add additional coat of paint on base when completed. The base (legs/apron/frame) is primed then painted [4 coats] Lucite exterior black satin finish with 24 hour dry time between coats. The top is stained [2 coats] Cabot solid stain Oak Brown. I use 2 1/2 " deck screws to assemble (no air nailer/staples).
